2011 Strengthening Families in West Virginia Conference

Dear Colleague:

You are cordially invited to attend the 2011 Strengthening Families in West Virginia Conference on Friday, September 23 at the Charleston Town Center Marriott.  The conference will be an informative event where you can learn more about strengthening and sustaining families in the community. Seventeen workshops and two plenary sessions are planned.

The Keynote Address will be delivered at the Luncheon Plenary & Awards Ceremony by Judge Penny Brown Reynolds of Family Court with Judge Penny.  Bringing an authentic new voice to daytime television, and an inspiring new perspective to the court show genre, the Honorable Penny Brown Reynolds presides over the freshman court series, Family Court with Judge Penny, drawing on her legal and personal background to address the conflicts faced by families in America.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be provided through the WV Prevention Resource Center as an approved provider for the WV Board of Addiction/Prevention Professionals (AP09-101), the WV Board of Examiners in Counseling (WVBEC-508), the WV Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses (WV2001-0366RN), the WV Board of Social Work Examiners (490097) and the WV Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference!

Sincerely,
