Sharing and Celebration Summit: Honoring Community Excellence

Connecticut is a wellspring of ideas and innovations on how to foster aging, dementia and disability inclusivity. Join the Connecticut Age Well Collaborative and the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity & Opportunity at the State Capitol (North Lobby) for the release of our resource guide, spotlighting community excellence across the state. The guide will be posted to the Connecticut Age Well Collaborative website after this launch event and e-mailed to all registered participants. At this sharing and celebration summit, local leaders will inspire you as recipients for our first annual Wellspring Awards, and legislators will share statewide policy perspectives as part of a reflection panel. 

This event is the third in our 2023 Age Well Academy series, with special recognition to be awarded to participants who join us for five Age Well Academy events during the year. Municipalities are encouraged to send teams of attendees. This event is eligible for Certified Connecticut Municipal Official (CMMO) credit with the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM).
