The Upstate Bus Tour... Getting to Know Your Neighbors. Next Stop, Greenville County!

Join Ten at the Top as The Upstate Bus Tour... Getting to Know Your Neighbors makes our next stop in Greenville County on October 10th.

While you may already be familiar with the City of Greenville and Greenville County, this trip will include excursions to some places within the City of Greenville and Greenville County that are perhaps not as familiar.

We will start the day by checking out the view from the new Topside Pool Club that overlooks Falls Park and Main Street in Downtown Greenville. We will get the inside scoop on how local investment and development transformed downtown Greenville and what is on the horizon from the City of Greenville and from Phil Hughes of Hughes Investments. We will also get an update on economic development in the Greenville area from Mark Farris with the Greenville Area Development Corporation.

Other morning stops will include a look at the innovative Feed & Seed initiative and a tour of West Greenville, which is emerging as an arts and entertainment district just outside the city center. We will also get an inside look from the creators of GVLToday, which is the latest innovation from the Community Journals and Upstate Business Journal.

We will then travel to Travelers Rest to learn how this once "out of the way" community is now right in the heart of growth and development in Greenville without having to move their location. We will have a special lunch and then a walking tour of the emerging downtown area.

After lunch we will head to Millenium Boulevard for a tour of the new Greenville Tech Center for Manufacturing Innovation. We will then conclude the day with a visit to the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR).

Space is limited to 33 people, so be sure to secure your spot today.

Cost for the day is $25*, lunch is included.

The bus will leave for Downtown Greenville from the Ten at The Top Offices at 8:30 am and return at approximately 5:00 pm.
