SBE Community Forum at ESD 105 in Yakima

The State Board of Education will hold a board meeting May 11-12 in Yakima. Public comment is scheduled during the board meeting, but the Board recognizes that those times may not be convenient for working community members, so we’re holding an additional open forum to facilitate conversations between board members and the community. 

Please join board members for an open discussion about important topics such as strategies for closing the achievement gap, standards, and college and career readiness. The community forum will be Tuesday, May 10 at 5:30 in the ESD 105 Klickitat room.

This is a public meeting and all are welcome. You may share this invitation. Space at this event is limited. If you aren't able to attend, please update your registration.

If a quorum of board members are present, this will be a public meeting per RCW 42.30.030.
