HauntX Haunters Retreat & Tradeshow
HauntX is a three day haunted house convention that will attract haunt owners, industry professionals, home haunters and Halloween enthusiasts. HauntX takes place May 9 -11 2014 in Reno, Nevada.
Our show provides a number of advantages to exhibitors:
-Exposure to new markets. Attendees will be drawn from throughout the Western United States. We are focusing our marketing efforts on San Francisco, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. We’ve identified over 100 haunts in our target markets.
-Qualified attendees. Our education program is geared towards practical applications for haunt owners and haunters hoping to go pro. This education orientation will attract pre-qualified attendees that operate haunts. Being located in Reno; a destination city, we will draw haunt owners from a much wider area than other ‘local’ shows.
-Lower overall cost to exhibit.
-Low booth prices which include power, table & chairs
-Our non-union venue has no drayage fees
-Hotel rooms that average less than $65 per night
-Your booth purchase includes free access to the ‘Grave’yard Sale that runs shortly after the show floor closes on Sunday. This allows you reduce any return product shipping costs.
HauntX is exhibitor friendly. Show management and our venue are very amenable to special requests including the use of fog on the exhibit floor. Our plan includes a ‘low-light’ zone allowing selected vendors to display their product to best effect.
Most Education is scheduled before and after the tradeshow hours. We run reduced educational tracks during show hours to maximize attendee time on the exhibit floor.

-Main exhibit floor ceiling height is 20’, Mandalay 4 & 5 (Low light zone) are 8 feet.
- Compressed air is available in booths 32 – 38 on a first come first served basis.
-Anything that creates a mist/fog/smell/loud noise should be discussed with the show organizers well in advance of the show. Our venue is very accommodating but we need to make them aware of the unusual stuff that happens at a haunt convention. For example, we have pre-authorized the use of fog on the show floor. The venue will want a demo on setup day for the facilities manager, and safety folks.
Additional Exhibitor Badges: Booths include 2 Badges. Each additional Badge is $75.00 and includes the same early show floor privileges, lunch and admission as the badges in your booth package.
