This summer's forecast: bold and exciting! It's a great time to be enjoying local food, and wine from regional American vineyards.
There’s delicious wine from so many places around the world, but tonight we are enjoying wines from American vineyards who are nimble, innovative and making a splash in today’s wine scene.
Did you know that wine is made in all 50 states so everyone can “drink local”? We’ve carefully selected three examples that we think are particularly noteworthy to share with you and pair with tonight’s summer menu.
Standard Menu:
- Sesame Shrimp Balls in Watercress Salad with a Creamy Ginger Dressing
- Hammer Crusted Local Chicken Breast over warm Purple Potato Salad, Spinach and Lemon Vinaigrette
- Chocolate Turtle Cake
Vegetarian/Gluten Free menu:
- Mixed Green Salad with Strawberries, Candied Pecans and Local Goat Cheese
- Gluten-free crusted Summer Squash with warm Purple Potato Salad, Spinach and Lemon Vinaigrette
- Fresh Berries, Nuts and Maple Syrup
Tickets are $55/pp and include four wines and a farm to fork meal from Chef Author.
