The second annual AUSA Arsenal of Democracy Breakfast Meeting is set for 02 May 2012 at Macomb Community College.  The event will feature LTG Keith C. Walker, Deputy Commanding General Futures/Director Army Capabilities and Integration Center (ARCIC).  LTG Walker will discuss the future of the Army.

The ARCIC is responsible to the Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff, Army for determining and integrating force requirements and synchronizing the development of DOTMLPF solutions across the Army. The ARCIC will be the lead Army agency for coordination with Joint agencies and other Services for identification and integration of joint required capabilities. This responsibility includes Joint war-gaming, concept development, and experimentation.  Key ARCIC projects include: Connecting Soldiers to Digital Applications, Ground Combat Vehicle, Network Integration Evaluation, and Operational Energy.  The discussion will be timely and informative to you and your guests.

Lieutenant General Keith C. Walker assumed duties as the Deputy Commanding General, Futures and Director, Army Capabilities Integration Center on 15 August 2011. Lieutenant General Walker graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University, 1984. Lieutenant General Walker's military education includes the Armor Officer Basic Course, Infantry Officer Advanced Course, Army Command and General Staff College, and the Army War College.
