Improving Body Mechanics with Ergonomics Principles - 4 Continuing Education Hours

The second most common reason for massage therapists to leave the profession is work-related injury.  This course reviews the basics of general body mechanics for massage therapists but then takes it a step further by applying laws of physics and using some hands-on activities to create somatic awareness.  Included with the course, each participant will receive a brief personalized ergonomics assessment.  Participants should bring massage tables and sheets and wear comfortable clothing for in-class activities.
