 Expert Tips to Buying & Selling a Business

If you are in a business, do you have an exit strategy? Many business owners imagine one day they will sell and retire, but in many cases, they do not actively plan for the event.

Thinking of going into business by buying one?  Learn from an expert how to prepare.

This SCORE sponsored seminar takes you through the major stages in the acquisition or sale of a business. Topics presented include:

  • Preparing for the purchase or sale;
  • Locating sellers and buyers;
  • How franchises work;
  • Valuing, structuring and financing the acquisition;
  • Preparing for and completing due diligence; and
  • The closing and post-closing process.

The presenter: Tommy Thompson
