This 10 hour course will cover the explanation and demonstration of the fundamental principles and techniques of the Ishizaka Ryu Traditional Japanese Acupuncture style, created by the Japanese acupuncturist Sotetsu Ishizaka (1770-1842). After studying Chinese Medicine, Japanese acupuncture classics and Western anatomy, Ishizaka combined the three to develop new acupuncture theories and techniques centered around the most important meridians: the Chong Mai, the Du Mai, and the Ren Mai. These three meridians harmonize and control the 12 meridians.

Naoki Kubota is one of the only people to teach this 'root technique' acupuncture in the world. This course will cover fundamentals that can be built upon with further study. This seminar is a very rare chance to learn true Japanese style acupuncture.

Naoki Kubota

Naoki Kubota graduated from Meiji School of Acupuncture & Moxibustion in Osaka, Japan in 1977. He then apprenticed with his teacher, Machida-sensei, who studied the Ishizaka Ryu style of acupuncture with his teacher. Naoki is one of only four people practicing the unique style of Ishizaka Ryu in the U.S. In addition to holding his National Qualification in Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Japan, he holds state acupuncture licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina. Learn more about Naoki on his website.
