The faith of our Founding Fathers is what launched this exceptional nation. Most of us have been taught revisionist history, so we are going to set the record straight. This is a Christian nation, and the Lord wants His Bride to rise up, get educated, and impact the culture.
Neil Mammen is an author, Apologist, a physicist, an international speaker, and engineer by day. As a first generation American immigrant, he was shocked and surprised that Americans are unaware of what a wonderful nation we have. Apologetics is the investigation and defense of the truth of Christianity using facts, reason, science, history, archeology and philosophy. In September Culture Shield held the Capitol Briefing featuring David Barton & Neil Mammen. Neil quickly won the hearts of Kansans including our Governor. His book, 40 Days Toward a More Godly Nation, and it’s study will be his topic. “Why Only the Church Can Lead Us to A Happier, Healthier, Safer, & Mutually Prosperous America. How do we turn our Nation back to God? God has judged every other nation when they turned away from His Moral Laws. Is our Nation due for punishment and correction? How do we reduce poverty, crime and child abuse? The Bible has the answers to all of these and most of them point directly to the Church. Governor Brownback is excited about the spiritual history of Kansas. He will be sharing inspirational stories about our Kansas heroes. Kansas has a rich history of fighting for freedom. We can once again arise and be a light to the nation. We cannot move forward in our legacy if we don’t know our heritage.
Donna Lippoldt will be speaking on the Key to Equipping & Mobilizing Believers, she is a native Kansan, born and raised in K.C.K., on the ground that inhabited the Underground Railroad. Donna is the National Day of Prayer Coordinator for the state of Kansas, National Governors Prayer Team Leader for Kansas, and serves as Director of Culture Shield Network.
Mission Statement - to inform>connect>mobilize the Body of Christ to be the moral conscience of our culture. We hope to educate, inspire, and motivate every believer to action. We will be calling parents to educate their children as to the truth about our nation.
This meeting will last 2 & ½ hours, from 9 a.m. – 11:30. It is scheduled for Saturday morning, February 8th, at Lenexa Baptist Church – 15320 W. 87th St. Parkway, Lenexa, Kansas.
