The Forum will begin with SAA's highly-regarded Investment Workshop of case study sessions, where attendees collaborate and develop strategies that address situations based on SAA's experiences in working with insurance clients. The "Investment Seminar for Gov't Risk Pools" will take place after lunch and only at this special seminar are the most important investment issues facing pools discussed and dissected in detail. Thursday will have a full agenda reviewing the current US economic expansion and what it might mean for investments in the medium and long-term. SAA will begin the day by looking at the different business cycles within the past 25 years and investigate where in the cycle the US is currently. SAA will then discuss the key metrics both insurers and pools should focus on when utilizing Peer Analysis as part of their investment process and outlook on the investment landscape.

Thursday will close with experts from Eaton Vance, New England Asset Management, and Mellon addressing, "Late Stage Looks: Opportunities and Land Mines in an Aging Economic Expansion." Every stage of the economic cycle brings good and bad investment choices and these highly regarded investment managers will share their thoughts on what those choices might be. These firms will then follow-up with an "Ask the Experts" panel where you can ask about anything that may have arisen at the conference. We suspect, given the variety of opinions, that this will be one of the livelier sessions at the Insurer Investment Forum.
