Putting the "Public" in Public Arts

Wednesday, October 30, 2019

6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A community conversation and workshop on the future of public arts in Watertown

Free and open to the public

What should public arts in Watertown look like?

Who is the “public” in public arts? And how can we imagine new kinds of creative expression in the public realm? We want to hear from you so that we can shape the future of public arts in Watertown together.

Join the Watertown Public Arts Master Plan Advisory Committee on Wednesday, October 30 for a community conversation on the future of public arts in Watertown. Whether you're a new or lifelong resident, a student, or a local business owner, your perspective is vital to developing the town's first-ever Public Arts Master Plan. In this event, you'l learn about the planning process, hear from local artists who are shaping Watertown's creative culture, and have a variety of opportunities to share your ideas for how the arts can enrich everyday life in Watertown.

Light dinner refreshments provided. Free childcare available upon request.

Your participation is important to us. Call 617-933-0713 or email ispinola@mapc.org for accommodations. Advance notice (10 business days) is necessary for certain accommodations.
