2015 Education and Annual Design Awards Event - Celebrating the Profession

Join ASLA Colorado for an afternoon and evening of events at BLANC on Walnut Street, an exciting new special venue.

Start with an afternoon of educational opportunities and stay through the evening to network and celebrate this year's award winners. The cocktail reception will feature an open bar with beer and wine in a convivial outdoor envirornment with a special guest from the Cultural Landscape Foundation who will highlight the coming weekend's "What's Out There Denver" program. The Design Awards evening includes a special selection of delicious hors d'oeuvres.

The evening will also feature the Jane Silverstein Ries Foundation Silent Auction which benefits the Jane Silverstein Ries Foundation's scholarship program for landscape architecture students.

1:45-2:45 pm - Panel - Building Successful Landscapes
This panel of experienced builders, designers, and contractors will discuss everyday topics and issues that affect the quality and timeliness of constructing successful landscapes. LACES credits will be applied for.

3:00-4:30 pm - Panel - Design Quality and the Public Realm
This panel of experienced and distinguised experts will discuss issues related to the design quality of our public realm in the context of rapid growth and increased population density in the metropolitan area. LACES credits will be applied for.

4:30-5:30 pm - Happy Hour (with a Cultural Landscape Foundation special guest)

5:30-7:30 pm - Design Awards Presentations

Notes:

Your registration fee includes all the education sessions, happy hour, and the awards event. If you choose not to attend the education sessions please let us know on the next page. The evening activities are planned for the outdoor courtyard (weather permitting) so plan to dress appropiately and bring a jacket. Parking is on-street. Dress is business casual.

A $25 cancellation fee (per registrant) applies until October 3. Cancellations after October 3 cannot be refunded. Attendee substitutions may be made.
