Special Guest Speaker - Vicki James - Role of "Trusted Advisor"

We as project professionals do not serve our organizations as well as we could when we simply implement change dictated by others in an "order taker" role. A more productive role is that of "Trusted Advisor" or influencer. This presentation contrasts both roles and offers suggestions and advice on how to move into the influencer role over time.

Speaker Bio:

Vicki James, Chapter President, has more than 15 years experience in both business analysis and project management. She has received both her PMP (2005) and CBAP (2010). She is the Director of Business Analysis for Watermark Learning and has led the effort in developing their PMI-PBA certification program. Vicki is co-author of Strategies for Sponsorship alongside Peter Taylor and Ron Rosenhead.
