2019 Pump Station O&M Workshop

The Pump Workshop is another Training-In-A-Box presentation from PNWS-AWWA and will include the following topics relevant to water and wastewater:

  • Pump Station Design & Pump Curves
  • Emergency Generator Exercising
  • Valve Exercising
  • Pump Control & Telemetry
  • Vibration Analysis
  • Pump & Motor Inspection

 This workshop features speakers: 

Eric Schey, Tetra Tech
Ben Scrace, Whitney Equipment Company, Inc.

EARN CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS!  - 0.6 CEUs (Water & Wastewater CEUs approved)

Cost is $85 per attendee for individual or utility members of AWWA, WEF or PNCWA  - $110 after Monday, May 13th

$110 per attendee for non-members of AWWA or WEF - $130 after Monday May 13th

Registration closes on Friday May 16th

Fee includes lunch and refreshments

Small System Operators and Student Scholarships - To encourage participation from small utilities (less than 500 connections) and from college, university and technical program students, the Northwest Washington Subsection will pay workshop registration fees for 2 operators from small utilities and any student.  To be eligible for a small systems scholarship please register and pay for the workshop and on the registration form indicate the number of connections for your utility.  If your registration is one of the first two received, your registration fee will be refunded following completion of the workshop.  Reciept of payment marks your place in line!  First Come - First Served.   

To be eligible for a student scholarship please list your institution, click "pay by check" and phone or email the contact in the upper left column for further information.

Cancellation Policy - If a registrant is unable to attend the event and a substitute within the organization can attend, please contact Jeff Lundt at jeff.lundt@kingcounty.gov to update information.  If unable to attend or send a substitute contact the above at least one week before the event for a refund (minus a $10 processing fee).  Refunds after that time will not be given.

If the workshop is cancelled due to lack of registration or another reason, full refunds will be provided.
