Biography

Prior to his appointment as the Defense Attache of the Republic of Poland in Washington DC, in September of 2013, Brigadier General Jaroslaw Strozyk served as Deputy Director Intelligence Division, International Military Staff, NATO HQ Brussels since September 2010.

Among his other international assignments, in 2006 he assumed the position of Deputy Chairman Coalition Analysis Cell within J2 US Central Command in Tampa, US where he stayed until 2007. He also had a position at the Polish Military Representative MILREP Office, NATO HQ, Brussels (1999-2003).

His military career started in 1987 when he joined the Infantry Military Academy in Wroclaw and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 1991. He is a graduate of the National Defence Academy and Academy of Humanities where he earned a Master of Arts in Political Science.

In 2012, he attended the General and Ambassador Course at the NATO Defence College in Rome and in 1995 the Infantry Officer Advanced Course in Fort Benning, Georgia.
