Pope Memorial SPCA Summer Camp Registration 

We welcome you and your child to our summer camp program! We are glad to have the opportunity to provide a wonderful camp experience for your child. 

Our camp offers children the opportunity to develop a caring, compassionate and responsible awareness of pets. Our week long camps are perfect for children who have a sincere interest in all animals, especially companion animals.

Campers will cover topics that include proper pet care and safe handling of pets, responsible pet ownership, grooming and training pets, among other topics. Campers will also meet special guests throughout the week. Time with shelter pets is on the schedule too!

Goals of our Camp: Provide a fun and educational experience, assist children in becoming animal advocates, introduce services offered by the SPCA, learn how animals communicate, provide positive interaction with shelter pets.

Camp registrations will be accepted on a first come, first completed basis (child information/physician form and payment must be submitted within a week of this online registration). Please review the following information regarding camp and contact us with any questions or concerns.

Please note there are TWO steps to registration:
 
1. Download/print required forms for a parent/guardian AND physicians to complete within a week of online registration and return by mail; Pope Memorial SPCA, 94 Silk Farm Rd, Concord, NH 03301, fax to 603-856-8972 or email to scamara@popememorialspca.org. 

2. Register below and pay by credit card. If paying by check please be sure to place "Summer Camp" along with child's name in memo section and mail to the address above.

Camp Information: Camp days are Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm for children ages 7-12 yrs. The dates for camp are as follows: June 25-29, July 9-13, July 16-20, July 23-27, July 30-Aug 3, Aug 6-10, and Aug 13-17.

Camp Fee: The camp fee is $240 per child, per week. Full payment must be made when registering your child. You may pay with a check, payable to “Pope Memorial SPCA” please place "Summer Camp" in memo section of check.  Registration payments can be made following the registration link below or at the Pope Memorial SPCA.  We do not offer any discounts for siblings or scholarships for low income families at this time.

Junior Camp Counselor: We are offering two spots per session for children ages 13-15 years to join us in working with animals and assisting children at camp. The fee for the week is $50. Cancellation Policy: A $25 administration fee will be assessed per camper for all cancellations.  If the cancellation is more than 30 days prior to camp start date, a full refund (minus the administration fee) will be refunded. If less than two weeks a refund will only be given if your child’s camp spot can be filled. No refund will be given without a two weeks’ notice of cancellation.

Please note: In order for your child to attend camp a physician form must be completed by your child’s primary care physician verifying that your child has had a complete physical exam within the last two years, is up to date on immunizations, and provide a doctor’s order for medication administration during camp hours. A printout from your child’s doctor with details of their last physical, full list of immunizations, and a doctor’s signature showing your child cleared for all camp activities can replace the form. If you child has an inhaler or epi-pen we require a doctor’s note that the child is allowed to administer this medication on their own or complete instructions for camp counselor to administer with written permission from parent/guardian in which to do so. This can also be found on the physician form.
