MPM Products Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Training Course 

MPM Products is offering an RSO Training Course which meets or exceeds the requirements of USNRC 10 CFR Part 34. This course will include, but not limited to the following topics:

• Role of Management & RSO in Administration of a Radiation Safety Program
• RSO Qualification & Duties
• Federal/State Regulations Overview & Regulatory Resources
• Radiation Safety Program Components & Controls
• RSO Toolbox: Implementing RSP Requirements
• Increased Security Controls / 10 CFR Part 37 Review
• RSO Role in Incident Response
• Federal Regulations Review (10 CFR Parts 19, 20, & 34; 21 CFR)
• Radiation Liabilities & Litigation: What Every RSO Should Know

This course would be benificial for the RSO in Training, ARSO, or as a refresher course for the active RSO.  The course will be presented by Walt Cofer who has been active in Industrial Radiography since 1983.  Some of Walt's responsibilities during his career have been:
