You are invited to join us for the Tier 2 Training for Middle School RTI with the Oregon Response to Instruction and intervention project. This is a required training for your District Leadership/District Implementation Team.

Parking: Please park on the east side of the building in the event center parking. Do not park in front of the Roth’s Fresh Market.
Training Content: This training will provide information about Tier 2 Literacy Interventions for Middle School. Topics covered in this 1-day training will include:
*Part 2 of this training will be a required March 13th webinar on Intervention Scheduling at 10:00 am.
Training Purpose: This training is intended to build knowledge of the essential components of a secondary intervention system so that District and Building Implementation Teams can use the spring to plan for a Fall 2019-2020 implementation of your district intervention system.
Districts are not expected to be ready to fully implement interventions at their middle schools immediately following this training.
Districts who already have some interventions in place will have an opportunity to refine their practices and work on systematizing interventions across the district/school.
Who Should Attend: District Leadership and District Implementation Team members including District Level Administrators, Middle School Principals, and staff members who will be a key part of building your intervention system. The material presented may not be appropriate for content area teachers who are not specifically involved in building your system. Contact your coach if you would like guidance on who should attend.
