The 2015 National Two-Way Bilingual Immersion Summer Conference
Information and details to help you plan your registration process
Join us this year in beautiful Palm Springs! This conference is uniquely planned for you as a Two-Way / Dual Language Educator!
Pre-Conference Institutes
The Pre-Conference Institutes provide a foundation in the basic elements of Two-Way Bilingual Immersion education and are designed for new teachers and administrators or for educators needing an in-depth understanding of Two-Way and Dual Language education. These sessions are also designed for district and site administrators, leadership teams, and school board members who are planning new programs or are in the process of aligning their existing programs. The institutes provide specific program information, critical features, rationale, and research for the successful implementation of TWBI/DL programs. The three Pre-Conference Institutes planned for this year are:
•New Program Institute for Administrators and New Teachers
•Middle & High School Institute
•Cultural Proficiency Institute
These Pre-Conference sessions require a separate fee and will begin in the morning of June 29, 2015. So please plan on arriving early morning or the night before to be able to register and attend these sessions.
Length of Conference - 2.5 Days
The National Two-Way Conference will feature a team of exciting keynote speakers, teacher and administrator workshop sessions with opportunities to network, learn from expert teachers and curriculum developers, visit with exhibitors and vendors and review the latest curriculums and technologies available to support your work.
Registration Fees
- Pre-Conference Institute: $100 / person
- Early Conference Registration (prior to May 16, 2015) - $535.00 / person
- Pre Conference Institute and Conference - $610 / person
- Conference Registration for teams of 10 or more - $500.00 / person (prior to May 16, 2015)
- Conference Registration for teams of 10 or more and Pre Conference Institute- $580.00 / person (prior to May 16, 2015)
- Late Conference Registration (after May 16, 2015) - $575.00 / person (upon space availability)
- No discounts on groups after May 16, 2015
Registrations will only be accepted online or by sending in your completed form with payment. No registrations will be taken by phone. If you are registering online and paying with a purchase order, please enter your purchase order number in the appropriate space on the form and choose the "Pay by Check" option at the end of the registration form. If you need an invoice to start the purchase order process and your registration confirmation will not suffice, please contact Kyle Tanaka at ktanaka@m-w-h.com with the names of the staff that will be attending and an invoice will be sent to you. Please submit before the deadline of May 16, 2015 to receive the discounted rate and to allow time for the P.O. to be processed. The registration price will increase on May 16, 2015. All payments must be received prior to the conference.
