About CALL
The Catholic Association of Latino Leaders is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the formation of Latino leaders. CALL’s mission is to inspire Latino leaders to love and live their faith and give back through programs and service projects. We aim to transform the lives of our members according to the gospel, and be a national voice that speaks out on educational, social, and faith issues important to both the Catholic Church and the Latino community through coordinated efforts in education, the public-square, and the media. CALL is the only Catholic lay leadership organization in the United States with more than 15 chapters across the country. It was founded by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, José H. Gómez, and Archbishop of Philadelphia, Charles J. Chaput, in 2007. To learn more about CALL's mission and vision, we invite you to visit us at www.call-usa.org.

CALL Conference
Thousands of international travelers will come together under the theme “Love is Our Mission: The Family Fully Alive,” to celebrate and strengthen the sacred bonds of family. Under a complementary motif of “A Call to Strengthen the Hispanic Family” attendees of the 8th Annual CALL Conference will have the unique opportunity to participate in the public programs of the World Meeting of Families, as well as the faith formation and membership collaboration activities.

What is World Meeting of Families?
Since its inception by Saint John Paul II in 1994, the World Meeting of Families has strengthened the sacred bonds of families across the globe. Held every three years and sponsored by the Holy See’s Pontifical Council for the Family, the World Meeting of Families is the world’s largest Catholic gathering of families. This is the 1st time the World Meeting of Families will be in the United States (past sites include Italy, Brazil, Philippines, Spain, Mexico etc). Each World Meeting of Families has a theme that energizes and enlivens the event while adding great depth of meaning to our understanding of families. The Theme of the World Meeting of Families this year is “Love Is Our Mission: The Family Fully Alive,” emphasizing the impact of love and life of families on our society.
