Learning About LinkedIn

So many of us have a LinkedIn page these days. But hands up if you’re certain you’re using it to its best advantage. And what exactly IS the etiquette for endorsing someone or promoting your services? Don’t worry … you’re not alone! This class will offer an introduction to learning how to use LinkedIn effectively.

In our three hours together, we’ll discuss the basics of setting up a LinkedIn page for both you and your organization, while explaining the different tools and techniques for maximizing your visibility both professionally and on Google searches.

Why Linked-In?
As the third largest social networking site (behind Facebook and Twitter), it’s an important tool to keeping your networks professional, allowing them to work for you as you progress through your career path. LinkedIn reports more than 200 million visitors per month, and is available in more than 200 countries. It’s a crucial tool that allows you to keep your professional identity separate from your personal one (such as on Facebook), though the two pages can work well together.
