On-Camera Savvy Boot Camp

Effective communicating on video for live and recorded appearances

This FREE 3 Hour Success Strategies for Business Owners Meetup event is sponsored by Manasota SCORE and BankUnited.

Are you required to communicate with internal and external audiences through on-camera appearances? If so, how do you come across? Could you perhaps use some improvement? Do you look forward to on-camera appearances in the media, over the Internet, the Intranet or in webcasts? Or do you, like many spokespeople, dread it—even to the point of avoiding the opportunity whenever possible?

Do you know how to prepare for on-camera appearances? Have you developed your ability to get to the point and craft sound bites that will get your message across in fifteen seconds or less?

The On-Camera Savvy Meetup will help you better understand what it takes to become an outstanding on-camera communicator. It will help you to build the confidence and ‘know how’ to deliver important video-generated messages in the studio or on the run—whenever or wherever the camera is rolling.

On-Camera Savvy Meetup participants will learn how to:

  • “relate” to the camera in a variety of live and recorded on-camera situations
  • optimize verbal and non-verbal communication in on-camera appearances
  • prepare for on-camera appearances in a variety of video formats
  • get to the point in 15 seconds or less (sound bite technique)
  • effectively relate to the production crew and understand “behind the scenes” processes
