What Do Lipstick and Orangutans Have in Common?

RuckusRoots and Ethical Expeditions are teaming up to support the endangered Wehea Forest in Boreno!

Please come out for a fundraiser and art event to aid the Wehea Forest!  The Wehea Dayak, a local indigenous community in Eastern Borneo, have pledged to protect 38,000 hectars of their forest for future generations. However, expanding coal mines and palm oil plantations are immediately threatening the Wehea Forest and the community's ability to protect it.  This fundraiser will collect donations to provide emergency assistance in the form of salaries for the committed team of local rangers.

The evening's entertainment will include an interactive, attendee-inspired art event, music, a screening of the film "Green," light food (taco cart!) and drink (donated wine!).

As part of the art event, attendees are asked to bring at least one old or used tube of lipstick or lip gloss, eyeliner, or mascara.  This is your price of admission- don't forget!
