Objectives:

1. Discuss presentation and treatment of melanoma
2. Discuss approach to the pigmented lesion including biopsy techniques and importance of dermatopathology
3. Discuss surveillance and early intervention in the high-risk cancer population
4. Describe the common treatment modalities for nonmelanoma skin cancer
5. Identify the advantages to utilizing Mohs surgery for treatment of skin cancer, as well as some of the limitations of when it can be used
6. Describe overview of surgical options for advanced stage melanoma
7. Identify role of sentinel lymph node biopsy after the MSLT-II Trial
