Farm Energy Working Group Meeting 

Join us for a Farm Energy Working Group (FEWG)  meeting in Ames, IA from 9:30 AM to12:00 PM on Friday, Janaury 11, 2013.   We'll be meeting at the Iowa Energy Center conference room. 

(NOTE: If you are attending the Practical Farmers of Iowa Annual Conference, the FEWG meeting will be located aproximately 1 - 2 miles from the Scheman Center.)

 

9:30 – 9:45   Welcome and Introductions

9:45 – 10:15  What programs are offered through the Iowa NRCS?

Mark Garrison with the Iowa NRCS will discuss the energy effieincy and renewable energy programs offered through the NRCS

10:15 – 10:45   What programs are offered through Rural Electric Cooperatives?

Ethan Hohendal with the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives will discuss the energy effieincy and renewable energy programs offered by the rural electric cooperatives.

10:45 – 10:55   Plans for the Farm Energy Working Group in 2013

10:55 - 11:30      Coolbot System

Rich Schuler will share with us a information on a study he is involved with to reduce energy use from walk-in coolers.
