For this event, one significant difference is the schedule; Thursday will be reserved for Boot Camp action, Friday for ALL General Sessions and Saturday for ALL Breakouts! Plan to join us for the Welcome & Check In event to meet up in person and gear up for conference sessions scheduled for Thursday afternoon after the Boot Camp action!

Cordell is a top training professional who has spent more than 20 years helping thousands of companies achieve outstanding success. After graduating from Mississippi State University and serving state-side during Desert Shield, Cordell began a career with Driven Brands (owner of Meineke and Maaco). Cordell spent 20 years there, with increasing levels of responsibility for Operations and Training. After overseeing training internally for Driven Brands, Cordell founded Tortal Training in 2000.

Cordell Riley is now recognized as pioneer who was among the first to focus on the critical role that training plays in cultivating great brands. At Tortal, he assembled a powerhouse team of top training professionals and problem-solvers who have made his company the industry leader in designing training, developing learning solutions, identifying and achieving critical business goals, and other key capabilities.

Cordell currently serves on the Supplier Board for the International Franchise Association (IFA). He has also served on the Educational Foundation of the IFA, the Board of Governs for Institute for Certified Franchise Executives (CFE), the Education Committee of the Automotive Aftermarket Association, and as a Trustee of the Motorist Assurance Program.

Cordell is an active citizen of Charlotte, NC, where he lives with Donna, his wife and two children in college. He describes himself as a “Huge Carolina Panthers fan.” When he is not busy being a husband and parenting, speaking, or watching his team win, you can find him pampering his classic Jeep Grand Wagoneer or fishing.
