How do you manage people from 5 generations?
Generation Z is making its entrance into the labor market, and many employers are now challenged with managing five distinct generations at work. Misunderstandings and conflicts often emerge as generation gaps affect communication and productivity. In this session we will identify the different generations and highlight each one’s unique values, ideas and expectations about work.
Take-A-Ways Include:
Karen will help attendees develop frameworks and language for discussing and addressing the generational issues you face in your company and identify real strategies and techniques for managing them. Employing diverse generations can be difficult for even the best leaders, but the rewards can result in a competitive advantage for your organization.
Karen Cates, PhD, Executive Coach & Management Consultant and an Adjunct Professor of Executive Education at the Kellogg School of Management.
