How to pass an I-9 & E Verify Audit

Employment Audits are now part of the government's commitment to chaning the face of immigration policy in this country.  The current administration is taking immigration records very seriously and if businesses fail to produce the proper paperwork when questioned, they could and can face fines or even criminal charges.

This seminar will provide in-depth knowledge about:

 • Working, managing and understanding the I-9 & E-Verify audit

•  Why the I-9 is a "survival document" for HR departments.

 • Rules and regulations and how to correctly complete an I-9.

• How to pass an I-9 audit.

• What is E-Verify.

 Speaker:

Lucy Fong Lee, Immigration Attorney, Managing partner at Fallon, Bixby & Cheng - San Francisco

Lucy is a native of the bay area. Graduated from U.C. Davis School of Law. Worked in the highest court of New York and the Court of Appeals. In California she became a civil litigator. For five years, she has handled a variety of immigration cases: complex family based waivers, humanitarian-based visas. In 2017 she joined Fallon, Bixby, Cheng & Lee Inc. and continues to work on various family-based and employment-based immigration cases.
