Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Matt Venuti’s solo performances have been labeled “Ambient Fusion” and “Acoustic Alternative” but words often fail to categorize the immersive experience that Matt’s concerts are known for. Lush vocals supported by a bevy of captivating instruments deliver a melodic and poetic journey…one that traverses the heart and soul of a man has experienced a full gamut of the joys and challenges of life.

Matt was raised in a musical family of 10 siblings, a diligent mother and a father who played jazz piano. He became a pioneer of the new music technology that arose in the early 80’s and soon embraced the Electronic Valve Instrument (EVI) as his lead instrument. Matt moved from his native NY State to San Francisco where he became known as the bandleader and front-person of a popular world-fusion ensemble, The Venusians. A series of profound experiences led Matt to the present time. He now tours nearly year-round, accompanying himself on instruments that he would again be among the first in the world to explore...the melodic-percussive instruments from Switzerland called the Hang, Gubal and Gudu.

Matt has a history of performing at progressive events like the TED and TEDx conferences and diverse venues that range from house concerts to concert halls. Visit
