WOVEN is excited to announce that our 2015 luncheons will be a Back By Popular Demand Series! The speakers this year will be those from our past luncheons, for whom we received continual requests to have them return. Also, those who could not hear them, when they spoke earlier, have repeatedly asked us to feature them again. So 2015 is the year. Be sure to get them on your calendar, then invite others you know to come and be inspired. Our series is posted on our website: http://wovenonline.org/be-informed/local-event-websites/
From humble beginnings, growing up near Richmond, Lillian became the first African-American woman to graduate from Harvard with an MBA. She took her education and moved to Washington, DC where she led a multi-million dollar organization. Always one to make a difference wherever she is, she serves on various boards in Richmond and Florida, where she splits her time each year. Lillian’s example of excellence and hard work continues, even in her years of “retirement.” She is a sought after speaker and author of her inspirational autobiography, The Road to Someplace Better. Come and meet this humble, yet powerful, history maker.
