Are you one of the 61% of visual artists who have made no preparation for their work after their death?

According to The Research Center for Arts and Culture’s study, Above Ground: Information on Artists III: Special Focus New York City Aging Artists, 95% of visual artists have not archived their work, 97% have no estate plan, only 10% have made plans to donate their work to an institution, and 70% have no life insurance.

As a visual artist, planning for your future is not a simple task, but doing so now will help you ensure your artistic legacy, as well as the long term visibility and protection of your work.

In this interactive workshop, you will learn:

  • How to preserve your art work for the future;
  • Gifting your artwork; and
  • Protecting your family from tax implications.

Join Volkova Law Group and The Law Office of David H. Faux, P.C. to learn how an estate plan can help you maximize the potential of your artistic works.

Michael Feinfeld, Esq., is Counsel in the Trusts and Estates department of Volkova Law Group PLLC, a Manhattan law firm serving the legal needs of families and business owners. Michael concentrates on estate and tax planning for multi-generational families.
