Continuity; a filmmaker's most underestimated focal point. Likewise, we often find continuity to be the most noted attribute of any film.

Enter well-respected Script Supervisor Martha Pinson.  Ms. Pinson will join the South Carolina Film Commission and Trident Technical College to take us on a journey through film continuity.  A long-time script consultant for Martin Scorsese, Ms. Pinson will impart the structure of this vital position, the necessary diplomacy when working with the creative minds of a Director and Director of Photography and how this position keeps the dots connected, enabling a seamless transition into Post-Production.

Ms. Pinson has over 35 years of experience as one of the industry's most distinguished script supervisors, with credits that include The Aviator, Shutter Island, and Hugo. (See more about Martha Pinson here.)

The seminar takes place on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 9:00am to 5:00pm, at the Trident Technical College's Nursing Auditorium, 5000 Rivers Avenue, Building 970, North Charleston, SC 29406. Sponsored by the South Carolina Film Commission, this event will be free and open to the public. Seats are limited and a simple registration is required.

Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity.  Look forward to seeing you there!
