What's in a Pronoun?
What’s in a Pronoun? Do you know what LGBT+ stands for? Do you understand some of it but have lots more questions on other aspects? Are you and your workplace being inclusive? We'll cover the basics and have a candid conversation on how to be a more informed Ally to the LGBT+ community.
Join us for this important virtual event to learn how to best support our LGBT+ and gender non-conforming clients and understand the ways we can communicate with care and respect so that all of our clients will feel seen and heard.
Special Guest, Shannon Keene, Sr. VP at Bank of America will share important insights with us...a timely topic not to be missed.
Our Special Guest Speaker, Shannon Keene
Shannon Keene is a Senior Vice President at Bank of America. She has been with the bank for almost 20 years and currently is responsible for digital marketing strategy for existing card clients. Shannon serves as the Northeast Regional Chair for the LGBT+ Pride Employee Network Group which oversees activities of 8 individual state chapters. She also managed the enterprise activities for Pride Month (June) for the last two years.
Shannon graduated from Elizabethtown College, PA with a degree in Psychology and Business Administration.
In a normal year, Shannon and her wife Brienne (Brie) would spend most of their time running around to school events, soccer, dance, and swim with their beautiful children, son Tyde (9) and daughter Riglee (7 going on 17). This year we are enjoying being with close friends, family, spending time camping or hanging out in Avalon, NJ. We also love music, cooking, and taking JEEP rides!
Shannon and her family currently reside in Harrisburg, PA.
