Meet the Floyds:
The Floyds enjoy traveling, fitness,and food.They love being together as a family, and are active members of Grey Stone Church in Durham NC.
Shannon is a National Board Certified Teacher and the loving, creative force behind all the Floyd boys. She has been married to Randall for 23 years. She currently teaches 3rd grade at a local school.
Connor is in Middle School and enjoys sports, hanging out with his friends, video games, and traveling with the family.
Nick is an avid artist completing his senior year in High School while also taking courses at a local college. He enjoys movies, traveling and eating out.

Randall has been in ministry for 35 years and now serves in a range of ministries which includes equipping our Bible Studies & Life Groups, Discipleship, and Missions. He has training from FSU, Southern Seminary, and New Orleans Seminary and is completing his PhD with Trinity Theological Seminary.

Dx2: Let Me See Your "I.D." with the Floyd Family
A 2-Session Online Bible Course
Jesus encourages us in Matthew 18:20 with these words: "For where two or three gather in My name, there I am with them."
The Grey Stone Education Ministry has compiled several short-term Distance-Discipleship (Dx2) courses with 2-3 brief sessions on a variety of topics for your spiritual growth during this season of social-distancing. We will bring you some fantastic Teachers and Leaders to help engage you on your journey of faith...even at a distance.
This Family-Friendly course includes two (online) sessions with Pastor Randall Floyd and his family: his wife, Shannon, and two sons, Nick & Connor.
***Participants must register to receive access and resources for the online study.
Our hope is that two or three will gather in two or three brief sessions for each course. And Jesus promises to be right here with us!

Scripture is alive with rich and powerful stories that can inspire all of us. We found a "formula" in these stories summed up in four "I.D,'s"
We meet an Intentional Disciple faced with an Impossible Dilemma...to make a tough choice to follow God's will. God then uses an Impressive Demonstration of His Supernatural Power which results in an Important Decision.
Through this fun online format you'll experience the stories of Jonah; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; the prophet Daniel; and the Apostle Paul. Discover Nick's original artwork as Shannon narrates and Connor interjects humor. Watch Randall multi-task: teaching while driving. Mostly, be inspired by these exciting and true stories from Scripture.
- Session 1: Jonah (Chap.1-2) and the 3 Men in the Furnace (Dan.3)
- Session 2: Daniel & the Lions (Daniel 6) and Paul in Prison (Acts 16)
Each session will include a brief video which can only be accessed online at GreyStoneChurch's website. Registered participants will receive an e-mailed format and direct resource links to the videos and any (pdf) Guided-Notes handouts.
