   Dr. Amulya Konda moved to Tallahassee in 2009 and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Her interest in medicine was nurtured by her parents who are both physicians and teachers. She received her Bachelors of medicine and surgery degree in India and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship training at William Beaumont Hospital, Michigan, in 2009. She also served as staff physician for the Internal Medicine residency program at Beaumont hospital.
Along with endoscopy for colon cancer screening and polyp removal she has additional fellowship training in advanced endoscopic techniques of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP geared to treating gastrointestinal, pancreatic and biliary cancers.
The has special interest in nutritional health and obesity along with women’s issues in gastroenterology.
She believes that care should be patient driven. She strives to continuously update her knowledge in gastroenterology, practically apply this and share it with her patients.
