This presentation will review the current status of medical cannabis in Florida,
a brief review of the evidence of its use, and a discussion of whether you would
want to become certified to order medical cannabis for your patients.

Dr. Brummel-Smith is the Charlotte Edwards Maguire Professor in the Department of Geriatrics
at the Florida State University College of Medicine.
He serves as the medical director of Trulieve, one of the 6 companies licensed
to grow and dispense medical cannabis in Florida.
