Please join the San Joaquin County Office of Education's (SJCOE) County Operated Schools and Programs division for the Second Annual Chronic Absenteeism Summit on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
The summit is a free, online event focused on bringing school districts, law enforcement, service providers, and community partners together to share best practices. The summit aims to inspire us to take action as we work towards creating a positive attendance culture in our schools and communities.
Who should attend? Teachers, counselors, community based organizations, the District Attorney's Office, Probation Department, law enforcement, school resource officers, student services staff, school office staff, school administrators, health services, mental health clinicians, and Child Protective Services.
