June 5 - SMPS ALASKA SHOPTALK

And Now, Presenting: Prepping Your People to Get Up in Front of Others

How to Help Overcome the Fears of Public Speaking

It’s considered one of the worst phobias – speaking in front of others.  Yet it is an essential skill in acquiring new business for A/E/C firms.  Any great architect, engineer and construction professional can be a talented practitioner, but being able to discuss those talents and the projects they inspire in front of a conference audience, or a client panel, or a reporter can make the difference in your firm’s bottom line.

Let’s grab a cup of coffee and talk about some of the tools you can share with your people to help them become better communicators.  And don’t think it’s only new presenters who need help – you also need to learn how to be a good audience and to critique in a positive way that will boost your speaker’s confidence and get them over their fears.

As always, ShopTalk is free for members and $25 for non-members; bring your principals and encourage them to join SMPS as members so they have access to the best in marketing for their bucks.

Register below by the end of the day Wednesday, June 5!

Thank you for your response. We look forward to seeing you at the next SMPS Alaska Chapter event.
