NOVEMBER LUNCHEON
Development Panel

Developers are the catalyst for many of the private projects that have helped build our community, both commercial and residential. The developers in Anchorage have worked with many of the architectural and engineering consultants and contractors over the years. Base on that experience, they have gained valuable insight into what they want and how the teams they work with can better serve them. Join us for this panel of developers as they talk about what A/E/C consultants are doing well, what can be improved, and what opportunities you'll have to use this insight in the future. Confirmed panelist include:

Chris Schutte | Economic and Community Development Director

Chris is responsible for the coordination and management of Municipal departments and divisions working to improve the community's economic vitality; facilitate commercial and residential property development; enforce building and land use codes; and manage regional planning projects.

Daniel Delfino | Director of Planning and Program Development

Daniel administers the LIHTC program and manages the Planning and Program Development responsible for several rental development and supportive service programs throughout the state. Prior to joining AHFC in 2008, Daniel supervised a multi-site Money-Out team for Fidelity Investments in Salt Lake City. He received his bachelor's degree in economics from Portland State University, and holds a master's degree in economics from the University of New Mexico.

Mark Fineman | Vice President - Project Management and Construction

Mark highlights partnership as an important part of CIHA's work. "We can accomplish more and have a greater impact when we partner with others." Mark leads the Project Management and Construction departments at CIHA, and is motivated by his desire to help others and take on challenges. He's proud of CIHA's work providing affordable housing in our community because it provides them independence.

Shaun Debenham | Vice President of Acquisitions and Development

Shaun is a native of Anchorage and specializes in development, sales and acquisitions, construction management and real estate consulting. He has acquired and developed millions of dollars of real estate, including office, residential, industrial and retail buildings. Prior to joining Debenham in 2004, Shaun worked as a structural engineer in Denver, Colorado. He currently serves as Vice President for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Anchorage, and has also served as a commissioner on the Anchorage Planning and Zoning Commission.
