Misconduct might express itself in terms of sexuality or finances or emotional abuse. Whether from a church member, lay leader, or rostered person, misconduct impacts larger systems and can raise opportunities to seek wholeness: 

• How can we best respond to survivors, perpetrators, and congregations?
• What dynamics do congregations experience because of misconduct?
• Why is it important to “name the pain”?
• What processes can help contribute to healing?
• How well are we handling our own “slippery slopes”?
• Where do we discover the reconciling power of God?
• What safeguards can help to reduce the possibility of misconduct?

This 2 ½ day workshop includes healing worship, presentations, case studies, and the sharing of experiences. Participants will promote congregational wholeness by equipping themselves to:  

• rebuild trust and health
• mange conflict maturely
• reclaim congregational ministry and mission
• encounter Jesus Christ, crucified and risen
