CVMA Fall Short Course:
Sunday, October 29, 2017
Dear CVMA Members:
The CVMA Fall Short Course is set for Sunday, October 29, 2017, at the beautiful Cooper Creek Event Center in Blue Ash. The CVMA Program Committee is pleased to provide top notch programming focused on the latest trends and information available to our field.
This year’s DVM track is focused on canine and feline kidney issues, treatment, and surgery. We’re pleased to welcome Dennis Chew, DVM, DACVIM from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and local specialist Susanna Hinkle Schwartz, DVM, DACVS. Veterinarians can earn up to 6 credit hours of continuing education.
CVMA’s Fall Short Course offers a veterinary technician track as well. Lakshmi Mahalingam, RVT, will speak on fluid therapy and anesthetic complications and troubleshooting. After that, Jessica Davis, RVT, VTS (ECC), will speak on CPR and attendees will get the chance to practice their skills in the CPR lab. Techs can earn up to 4 CE again this year– be sure to share this information with them!
