2019 Little Miss Main Street Pageant  

Join us for the inaugural Little Miss Main Street Pageant, sponsored by Sweet CeCe's Frozen Desserts & More, to take place on Saturday, April 27 at the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County's 36th Annual Main Street Festival, presented by First Tennessee Bank. The pageant will be open to girls 5-12 years old and winners will be crowned by reigning Miss Williamson County, Machalia Bennett. Pageant winners will be invited to participate in Heritage Foundation events throughout the year to draw attention to the importance of youth involvement in historic preservation. 

Little Miss Pageant open to girls 9-12 years old.
Jr. Little Miss Pageant open to girls 5-8 years old.

Winners in all four categories will receive a $50 cash prize, $50 Sweet CeCe’s gift card, sash, crown and trophy. The first runner-up in all categories will receive a $40 Sweet CeCe’s gift card and trophy. The second runner-up in all categories will receive a $30 Sweet CeCe’s gift card and trophy.

Rules

1.      The pageant is limited to children ages 5-8 & 9-12. Participant must reach their respective age on or before April 27, 2019.

2.      The pageant is open to all participants who meet age requirement. There are no specific  residency requirements. 

3.      Registration deadline is 5 pm on Monday, April 22, 2019 with application and entry fee (non-refundable). Each age group has a limited number of participant slots available – first come, first serve.

4.      Participant numbers/order will be drawn at random on the morning of the pageant.

5.      Contestants in the pageant must be checked in between 9:30 am to 10:15 am or you will not be allowed to participate.

6.      Contestants will need to arrive day of the event ready and dressed for the pageant. There will be no dressing rooms available.

7.      Only one (1) parent/guardian will be allowed to assist child behind stage/present. Pageant participants ONLY will be allowed on stage. No parent/guardian escorts.

8.      Contestants will be judged on natural beauty, confidence on stage and personality. After introductions, a Top 10 (depending on number of applicants) will be announced and they will receive an age appropriate question from the host.

9.      Contestants will be judged on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest and a 30 as the highest score attainable.

10.  Dressy/Formal Attire. We prefer very little to no makeup and age appropriate clothing. Girls: Short or long dress, party dress, pageant dress or gown, any type of formal wear. Boys: Dressy clothes, short or long pants.

11.  Judging will be conducted by a panel of three (3) judges. Their decisions are final. There will be chosen: Jr Little Miss Main Street, first runner up & second runner up. Little Miss Main Street, first runner up & second runner up. Runners Up will receive a trophy and TBD (cash price).

12.  Winning constants cannot leave until all winners are announced. There will be photographs after the pageant.

13.  The responsibilities of the Jr Little Miss Main Street and Little Miss Main Street will include being present at each Heritage Foundation Festival opening Ceremony. And any other duties agreed upon by the Heritage Foundation Festival Staff and participant’s parent/guardian.

14. Childrens of Heritage Foundation employees are not eligible to participate.
