This workshop will include discussion on the causes of burnout and how it effects the mind and body. Discussion will also include the impact COVID-19 has had on clinicians experiencing burnout, including ways it has changed and amplified the feeling of burnout. Was to work through this will be explored.

Who Should Attend: 

Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Creative Arts Therapists, Marriage and Family Therapists, and any professional that is working in the mental health field. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to define burnout, how it presents in clinicians, and how to process this
  • Participants will be able to identify why and how burnout begins
  • Participants will be able to identify and apply strategies to work through emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion.

About the Presenter


Saadia Yunus is a licensed marriage and family therapist, trauma specialist, motivational speaker, and community leader. She earned her Master's degree in marriage and family thearpy summa cum laude from Hofstra University in New York. She has 10+ years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Her passion is to engage with people on a personal level to uplift them into discovering the best version of themselves. In addition to therapy, she achieves this through motivational and trauma-informed presentations and workshop throughout the country.
