This event is open to collegiate newspaper staffs and advisers.

Join us for a day of training and celebrating Collegiate Journalism in the Palmetto State!

The meeting will be hosted in the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center in the Black Box.

9:30 – 10 a.m.               Registration and newspaper swap                            

10 – 11 a.m.                  Opening Session
"Why real news matters"  |  Featuring Francis Marion University's Executive Director of Public Affairs Tucker Mitchell, former Florence Morning News Editor Harry Logan, Coastal Carolina University Journalist/Media Executive in Residence Trisha O'Connor and SCPA Executive Director Bill Rogers as moderator

• DHEC and the Pee Dee Mental Health Center on Cheves Street
• St. John's Episcopal Church and Poynor Adult Education Center on Dargan Street
• First Citizen's Bank and Central United Methodist Church on Irby Street
