80% of charitable funds come from individual donors, not foundations or corporations. Led by Andy Robinson, learn to build a fundraising program that honors your mission, engages potential donors and raises more unrestricted funding. This workshop will cover:

  • Where money comes from: Building a diverse funding base
  • The basic principles of fundraising
  • Identifying prospective donors
  • "The ask" - face-to-face solicitation
  • Ranking the effectiveness of different fundraising strategies

About the Trainer
For 39 years, Andy Robinson has worked with a variety of nonprofits as a fundraiser, facilitator, trainer and community organizer. Since starting his consulting practice in 1995, he has provided support and training to thousands of nonprofit staff and volunteer leaders in 47 U.S. states and across Canada.

Andy specializes in the needs of organizations working for human rights, social justice, artistic expression, environmental conservation, and community development.

How to Register
Whether you are a nonprofit executive director, fundraiser, program leader, or board member, this workshop will give you practical skills to help maximize your effectiveness. 

The registration fee for this seminar is $40 for organizations with an operating budget over $100,000 or $20 for those with budgets under $100,000. Lunch is included.
