A note from Shannon -

I really hope you'll join me for a few days this December. Showing has meant to much to me personally. Even though I don't consider myself competitive with other people, I do want to improve each and every ride and there isn't a better way to measure success other than in the show pen.

Personally, I have enjoyed showing my Method trained horses over the years. It's a great way to set specific, measurable goals so that my relationship with my horse grows over time. In the beginning, I felt anxious about showing. Mostly wondering what other people might think about my riding abilities or my horse. As time has gone by, I've realized the purpose of showing is to give me AND my horse a common goal. Goals we can work toward and celebrate when we acheive. The Method is the foundation on which to build a base of knowledge and abilities. Show those in the showpen is culmination of all the hard work at home. A way to measure up. It's the rough patches in training, the wonderous days of practice success and the ultimate blue ribbon/buckle that helps me know I'm going in the right direction.

I'd love to help you with your Method Trained horse.

Cheers,

Shannon
