Celebrate your cycling adventure with a memorable finale - an authentic Eastern Shore Oyster Roast - back@the barn!

Sat., October 27, 6-8:30PM - Cherry Grove Farm, near Eastville

Oysters & clams plucked fresh from nearby waters, cooked under the stars, and served in a century old barn.  It's a communal feast, gathered around a long table as local watermen pour out the bay & sea delicacies to you and your new friends. Your oyster knife a-ready, you'll soon be releasing these delicacies to your tastebuds.

Party starts at 6 with seafood starters: Aside a roaring fire sample Eastern Shore's own Clam Chowder, She-Crab Soup, and the real thing Crab Dip.   

This is an Oyster Roast so if you don't like seafood uhm... Well, we do have the Shore's famed fried chicken and cole slaw for landlubbers! 

Raising the rafters is talented Shore band, a perennial BTW Oyster Roast fav, "Pound Net" playing Blue Grass and Folk.

Includes appertizers listed above & an almost endless supply of oysters & clams. Also fried chicken, cole slaw, homemade desserts, and soft drinks.

IMPORTANT/FUN INFO

• Seafood starters served at 6PM. Oysters/Clams start around 6:30PM. [Be late at your own risk -we have starving cyclists!]
• Bring lawn chairs [Haybales are first come first serve, lol ]
• Bring oyster knives, some will be available
• Working gloves to protect hands
• NO REFUNDS [We are a small, very small nonprofit]
• Oyster Roast is approximately: 35 miles South of Onancock- the Bike Tour Start/Finish, 18 miles South of Exmore, 18 miles North of Cape Charles. [All "Country" Miles -no traffic]
• Watch for deer on Savage Neck Drive
