Girls Inc. Mentors Valuing Peers (MVPs) is a 9-month leadership program for girls to strengthen their leadership skills and serve as positive peer role models to younger girls while earning community service hours.
Girls will connect with peers and adults, who care about their success; participate in skill-building workshops and seminars; plan and execute community service activities; and represent Girls Inc. at local events.
MVPs meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month (September-May) from 10:00am - 2:00pm.
Program Requirements: all potential Girls Inc. MVPs must be between the ages of 13-18 and have completed the 7th grade.
Cost: $100 for the year
Program scholarships are available for those who qualify. Additional fees may be required for special activities like leadership retreats, etc. in order to participate.
